TISAX-assessedThe security standard of the automotive industry.

AirLST is TISAX-assessed. The platform meets the standard that automakers and suppliers require from their vendors: independent evidence for how confidential attendee data is handled.

01TISAX in brief

One assessment for a whole industry

Instead of every automaker auditing every vendor, one result counts for all participants.

01

Assessed against VDA ISA

Independent audit providers assess against the VDA ISA catalog (Information Security Assessment of the German Association of the Automotive Industry).

02

Shared through the ENX Association

03

Required by OEMs and suppliers

Vendors that handle confidential information are reviewed like suppliers. For dealer events, launches and press events, that includes guest lists.

TISAX FAQ

What is TISAX certification?

TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is the information security assessment standard of the automotive industry. Independent audit providers assess a company against the VDA ISA catalog, and the result is shared with business partners through the ENX Association. Strictly speaking, TISAX is not a certification but an assessment that ends in a label; it is often called "TISAX certification" because it serves the same purpose.

Who requires TISAX?

Automakers and their suppliers require TISAX from service providers that handle confidential information. For event teams, that includes guest lists for dealer events, product launches and press events. With a TISAX-assessed platform like AirLST, you meet that procurement requirement; see event management for the automotive industry.

How is TISAX different from ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is a general, cross-industry standard for information security management systems and leads to a certificate. TISAX uses the VDA ISA catalog, which builds on ISO 27001 controls and adds requirements specific to the automotive industry, such as prototype protection; its results are exchanged between participants through the ENX platform. AirLST's documented credential is the TISAX assessment.

Which TISAX assessment level and label does AirLST hold?

We share the result, including assessment level, label and scope, with your company through the ENX portal; email kontakt@airlst.com.

How can customers view the AirLST TISAX result?

Through the ENX portal: send a request to kontakt@airlst.com and we release the result to your company.

Does TISAX matter outside the automotive industry?

Yes. The assessed requirements, such as how confidential information is handled, apply across the whole company. Every AirLST customer works with a vendor whose information security has been independently assessed; the information security page gives an overview.
