Convention Center
Event ticketing software that turns tickets into guests.
Ticket, payment, invoice and check-in live on the guest, not in a separate ticket shop.
Ticket types with price and quantity, payment via Stripe, Mollie or PayPal, invoice with the confirmation.
One unique code per guest, invalidated on the first scan, flagged on the second.
PDF ticket and wallet pass with logo, image and placeholders, without AirLST branding in white label.
Every event has a ticket. You decide how many kinds.
The default ticket is there from the first guest. When you need prices, access levels or capacity limits, add ticket categories: with name, description, gross price, tax rate, available quantity and the guest group buyers are placed in automatically.
- Price and tax per typeGross price and tax rate per ticket type, including $0 for complimentary tickets.
- Available quantitySold-out types disappear from the form; the event’s overall guest capacity is counted in parallel.
- Guest group on the ticketWhoever buys a VIP ticket is VIP in the guest list: with their own entrance, seating and emails.
- Add-onsEvening reception, parking or a workshop as extras in groups, with availability per guest group.

Buy tickets now. Add names later.
In ticket purchase mode, one buyer purchases a block of tickets without entering attendee details: an executive assistant, HR, sales or an agency. Tickets are valid from purchase, the QR code is active right away and check-in works without a name. Names are added later through a link.

An executive assistant buys ten VIP tickets and adds colleagues’ names and emails afterwards.
Sales buys twenty tickets and assigns them once the guests have confirmed.
An agency buys blocks for its clients and assigns names centrally once the attendee list is final.
This is your ticket. The QR code contains your personal code.
{{event.name}}A ticket in your design. As a PDF and in the wallet.
You design the ticket once: logo, image, copy and placeholders for event, guest, date, venue, ticket type and booking number. AirLST then generates a PDF ticket and a wallet pass for every guest, in their language, with their own QR code.
- PDF ticketTo print or show on a phone, attached to the confirmation.
- Wallet passEvent, guest, booking number and QR code in the phone’s wallet.
- Sent with the emailThe ticket is attached to the confirmation from invitation management; you can resend it per guest.
- White labelTickets, emails and event pages without AirLST branding, see pricing.
Hard to fake, because the code belongs to the guest list.
Security paper and watermarks do nothing for print-at-home and mobile tickets. With AirLST, security is not in the paper but in the list: every guest has a unique booking code, the ticket goes to their email address, and the scan at the door invalidates the code at the same moment for every station.
The booking code is created with the guest record and appears on the ticket, the confirmation and in the list.
Multiple entrances scan the same guest list; switching doors does not help a copy.
Roles, permissions and a change log: whoever sees the list at the door cannot change master data.
The scan reads the ticket. And writes to the guest list.
The check-in app for iOS and Android scans PDF tickets and wallet passes, shows name, ticket type, guest group, booked add-ons and booking status, and sets the status. Whether a ticket is paid shows up in the scan. Ticket type and guest group decide where the guest may go; the guest list shows live how many attendees per ticket type have arrived.
| Name | Guest status | Check-in |

The app shows which ticket the guest holds; zones such as a VIP area check the type at the zone entrance.
Name search in the guest list, check-in with a tap, logged with time and station.
Stations, badge printing and live attendance in the event check-in app; hardware and staffing in event access control.
Sold, booked, arrived: one number per ticket type.
The available quantity per ticket type is its capacity. Bookings count against it, the waitlist keeps track of who moves up, and on event day you see next to it how many attendees per type have checked in. Event reporting uses the same numbers after the event.
| Ticket type | Available | Checked in |
|---|---|---|
| Conference · Days 1–2 | 400 | 281 |
| Workshop A · Half day | 40 | 36 |
| VIP Dinner | 80 | 58 |

Available, booked, checked in: three numbers, one table, live.
Sponsors and partners with their own ticket allocation and approval: VIP ticketing.
Sales, attendance and no-shows per ticket type in event reporting.
Payment data stays with the provider. Guest data stays in Germany.
Card and account details are processed by the payment provider you connect; AirLST stores booking, amount and status on the guest. Guest data is hosted on servers in Germany, and access is controlled through roles and permissions.
- Hosted in GermanyGuest, booking and ticket data on servers in Germany.
- GDPR compliantData processing agreement and deletion policy in the Trust Center.
- TISAX assessedTISAX is the information security assessment standard of the automotive industry; AirLST has been assessed against it.
Sample roles. You assign permissions per user; every change to a ticket or status is recorded in the guest’s change log.
The ticket is the guest record that gets read at the door.
Registration, ticket type, payment, seat and check-in live on the same guest. That is why there is no reconciling a ticket shop with a guest list, just one workflow.
For ticket allocations per sponsor with an approval process, there is the VIP ticketing solution. Bookings from other systems flow into the guest list through the API. Heineken distributes its hospitality allocation for the UEFA Champions League and Formula 1 with AirLST.
What is online ticketing?
Online ticketing is the digital process that handles booking, payment and delivery of event tickets entirely on the web: attendees choose their ticket on the event page, pay through a payment provider and receive the ticket by email as a PDF, wallet pass or QR code instead of a printed ticket in the mail. Event ticketing software is the organizer’s side of the same process: creating ticket types, managing capacity and prices, generating tickets and validating them at the door.
Online ticketing went from add-on to standard because it works for both sides. Attendees expect to book in a few clicks and get their ticket instantly. Organizers get sales that run around the clock, real-time numbers on sales and capacity, personalized tickets that are hard to fake, and better planning of attendee flow and resources. They also save on printing and postage.
Online ticketing is not a standalone feature but part of attendee management: ticket, guest list, check-in and reporting belong together.
How does event ticketing work in AirLST?
- Create ticket types. Name, description, gross price, tax rate, available quantity, guest group. The default ticket needs no setup; add-ons such as an evening reception or parking come in groups.
- Connect payments. Stripe, Mollie or PayPal per event; enter billing details, taxes and legal notes once, and set up promo codes.
- Design the ticket. PDF ticket and wallet pass with logo, image and placeholders for event, guest, date, venue, ticket type and booking number; select the ticket in the confirmation email.
- Sell. Attendees book through online registration, pay and receive confirmation, ticket and invoice; booking, payment and ticket type are stored on the guest record, and the guest group is set.
- Admit. The check-in app scans the PDF or wallet pass, invalidates the code and sets the status; name search for guests without a ticket; every station reads the same list.
- Report. Sales, revenue, attendance and no-shows per ticket type in event reporting; contacts stay in the event CRM.
How is event ticketing software different from ticketing marketplaces?
Ticketing vendors come in three kinds: marketplaces with reach, which sell tickets to a public audience and charge a fee per ticket; ticketing software, which runs sales on your own site; and attendee management platforms, where the ticket is part of the guest record. The first two deliver a sales list that then has to be matched against the guest list, admission and communication.
In AirLST there is no sales list next to the guest list: the booking is the guest.
That changes three things. First, invitation, registration and ticket belong together: an invited guest books through their personal link, a public attendee through the event page, and both end up in the same list. Second, tickets are personalized and fraud-resistant, because the code comes from the list and is invalidated there. Third, the ticket type applies everywhere: at the door, in the seating chart, in emails and in reporting. For public sales that need marketplace reach, a ticket shop still makes sense; its bookings come into the guest list through the API.
Fraud-resistant tickets for print-at-home and mobile
Classic security features such as security paper, watermarks or embossing disappear as soon as attendees print their own ticket or show it on a phone. Fraud resistance then comes from four properties of the list: an individual code per guest, delivered to their email address; real-time sync between the check-in app and the guest list on every device, so a code is valid only once; roles and permissions, so only authorized staff can edit the list; and a change log that records every change to guest data. Anyone who tries to bring in several people under one name or with a copied ticket is stopped at the second scan.
What does ticketing work with?
With everything attached to the guest record: invitation management for invitations and confirmations with the ticket, online registration for ticket choice, add-ons, plus-ones and payment, the guest list for booking, payment and status, the seating chart, which maps ticket types to sections, the event check-in app with scanning, stations and badge printing, event reporting, and the API for bookings from other systems.
- VIP ticketing: allocations per sponsor and partner, approval workflows, hospitality
- Conferences: tickets per day or package, sessions and workshops with their own capacity
- Premieres: personal tickets for talent, press and partners
Organizers such as ProSiebenSat.1 (150 VIP tickets for Germany’s Next Topmodel) and Zalando use tickets from AirLST. Projects and numbers are in our customer stories.
