Amazon case studyEvery Prime Video premiere from one template.
This Amazon case study shows how movie premieres for Prime Video run on AirLST: 800 premiere guests, 10,000 fans in a sweepstakes, and one template in the Prime Video look and feel that is reused for every new title.
The challenge
New titles all the time, the same workflow every time.
VIPs, cast members and employees are invited to the movie premieres for Amazon Prime Video. On top of that, fans can enter sweepstakes to win tickets to fan premieres.
That called for one landing page and registration template in the Prime Video design that could be reused for every new movie title. To get solid sweepstakes data, the team also needed to see which ad channels brought fans to the event landing page.
The AirLST solution
One template, two ways to register.
AirLST built a template in the Prime Video look and feel. An interchangeable header covers each premiere, and the venue and times are easy to change in the back end.
The fan sweepstakes use an open registration with a separate password for each social media channel, which shows the channel each fan came from. After registration, the winners are drawn, every entrant is notified, and the winners receive a premiere ticket.
VIPs, cast members and employees use a closed registration: the invitation includes a personal access code. In the back end, the team sets how many plus-ones each guest can bring, and the tickets go out with the confirmation email.

The result
New premiere, new header, done.
800 premiere guests and 10,000 sweepstakes entrants ran on a single template. For each new movie title, only the header, venue and times change; registration, the drawing, invitations and tickets stay the same. The per-channel passwords show which ad channels brought in the fans.

Amazon case study FAQ
How did fans get tickets to the Prime Video premieres?
Fans entered a sweepstakes through an open registration on the event landing page. After registration closed, the winners were drawn, every entrant was notified, and the winners received tickets to the fan premiere.
How did Amazon know which ad channel brought fans to the landing page?
Each social media channel promoted its own registration password, so the password an entrant used showed which ad channel had brought them to the landing page.
How were VIPs, cast members and employees invited?
Through a closed registration with personal access codes, so only invited guests could sign up. In the back end, the team set how many plus-ones each guest was allowed to bring. More on this in event registration.
Can one registration template be reused for several premieres?
Yes. The template was built in the Prime Video look and feel with an interchangeable header for each movie title. Venue and times are changed in the back end, so each new premiere is set up quickly instead of being built from scratch.
Can AirLST run premieres or event series for other companies?
Yes. The same approach of one reusable template with open and closed registration also fits other recurring event series. The premiere events solution shows the full setup, and in a demo we walk through it with your own event.
