IHK Ulm case studyA graduation event shaped by its guests.
This IHK Ulm case study shows how the Ulm Chamber of Commerce and Industry honors its top graduates with AirLST: 900 attendees complete their own data, and scanning their ticket at the entrance prints the name badge and place card automatically.
The challenge
Celebrating the next generation.
Once a year, IHK Ulm honors its best graduates at the "Best of..." event. What sets the attendee management for this evening apart is how much the attendees do on their own.
They upload photos of themselves, add their plus-ones and make sure everyone has the event information they need. At the same time, key details such as each guest's plus-one allowance and seating area are defined in several places and have to come together in one system.
The AirLST solution
Import. Let guests fill in the rest. Scan and print.
Importing large volumes of data efficiently was one of the core tasks. The key details defined in several places, such as plus-one allowances and seating areas, were loaded through the fast upload function and were then available centrally for further processing.
Once they receive their invitation, the invited graduates complete their own data and add what is needed for event day, such as their plus-ones. On the evening itself, IHK Ulm runs check-in with the AirLST app: scanning the ticket also triggers the printing of the name badge and place card.
The result
900 guests, one system, from import to place card.
Data collected in several places, the details guests added and their uploads all lived in AirLST. On event day, IHK Ulm relied on the platform at the entrance too: 900 check-ins by app, with the name badge and place card printed straight from the scan.
