Welcome message, event image and quick links, built from panels you arrange yourself.
Event app.Agenda, ticket and networking on every attendee’s phone.
An event app gives every attendee their agenda, ticket, speakers, venue map and the other attendees on their phone. The AirLST event app does it in your branding, in two languages, as a progressive web app with no app store download. What you change in the CMS shows up in the app instantly.

The core features of your event app.
Eight modules come with every package and are enough to keep your attendees fully informed. Every page can be extended with text blocks, images and prebuilt panels. Add the seven premium features when you want the app to start conversations.
Eight core modules
Days, sessions, workshops and keynotes, filtered by track, day and topic; every attendee builds a personal agenda.
Speakers with photo, bio and links, connected directly to their sessions.
Company profiles with booth number and contact; attendees discover exhibitors and set up meetings.
Venue maps with rooms, exhibitors, catering and meeting points, managed in the event plan.
Ticket with QR code in the app, the same code as on the PDF and in the wallet, scanned with the check-in app.
Who is attending, from which company, in which role, visible once the attendee opts in.
Travel, hotel, schedule, dress code: freely designed pages and FAQs in the built-in CMS.
Seven premium features
Targeted real-time messages to all attendees or selected groups.

Four real event apps. Scan and you’re in.
No account, no download, no sign-up: scan the QR code with your phone and open the app of a real event, exactly as your attendees see it.
Agenda, speakers, map: managed once, current everywhere.
In the built-in CMS you set up days, sessions, rooms, speakers and the venue map. The app shows the program, attendees filter by day and track and see their personal schedule from registration. A room change in the CMS reaches every app within seconds.

Days, time slots, parallel sessions, track filters; favorites and a personal schedule for each attendee.
Their own content areas: profiles with photo, bio and sessions; exhibitors with booth and contact.
Directions, hotel, dress code, health and safety: freely designed pages in the CMS, in two languages.
The ticket is in the app. Because the attendee is on the guest list.
Attendees sign in with the login from their confirmation. Their QR code ticket is in the app because it comes from the same record as the PDF and the wallet ticket. At the entrance, the check-in app scans the code, and attendance shows up on the guest list.
- Attendee loginPersonal access from registration; without a login the app stays public with program and info.
- One QR codeApp, PDF, wallet: the same booking code, scanned with the check-in app.
- Plus-ones and add-onsPlus-ones, booked workshops and add-ons appear on the ticket, just as in registration.
Who else is here? The app knows, because the guest list knows.
With the attendee login, attendees see the attendee list: who is attending, from which company, in which role, as far as each attendee has opted in. Chat, a premium feature, connects two attendees directly; suggested contacts and bookable meetings are available as a separate matchmaking configuration.
Each attendee decides in their profile whether they appear on the attendee list.
Fields from registration, suggestions, meeting slots: a custom configuration we set up with you.
Sessions, hotel, networking and check-in for each day: conference management.
Your brand on the home screen. No app store.
The event app is a progressive web app: it runs in the browser on iPhone and Android, can be added to the home screen and needs no app store approval. You set logo, colors and fonts yourself; white label means no AirLST note, and from Professional it runs on your own domain.
- PWAOpen the link or QR code, add the app to the home screen; updates are there instantly.
- Corporate design in self-serviceColors, logo, fonts; templates for landing page, emails and app in one consistent look.
- Two languages includedAll content and interface elements in two languages; more languages as a premium feature.
- Unlimited event appsA separate app for every event at no extra charge per app; only the user volume is limited.
The app knows the attendee. So the attendee decides what it shows.
The attendee list and chat are opt-ins by the attendee, not defaults. The app runs on the same platform as the guest list: hosted in Germany, roles and permissions in the backend, consent recorded on the attendee’s record.
- Hosted in GermanyApp content and attendee data on servers in Germany, under EU data protection law.
- GDPR-compliantProfile opt-in per attendee, chat only with consent; details in the Trust Center.
- TISAX-assessedTISAX is the information security assessment standard of the automotive industry; AirLST has been assessed.
Example. What the backend sees is governed by the guest list’s roles and permissions.
The event app is the guest list from the attendee’s point of view.
Registration, ticket, session choices and attendance live on the same record. The app shows it to the attendee, the backend shows it to your team. That is why there is no import into the app and no export out of it.
For sessions, hotel and transfers across several days, see conference management; meeting slots between attendees come from a matchmaking configuration. Zalando ran its Digital Acceleration Summit with 800 guests, 30 speakers and three event days on AirLST.
What is an event app?
An event app is a mobile app for an event that shows attendees everything they need on their phone while the event is running: the agenda with sessions and rooms, speakers, the venue map, their own ticket, practical information like directions and FAQ, the attendee list and messages from the organizer. It replaces the printed program, the sign on the door and the reminder email, because changes reach every attendee immediately.
At AirLST, the event app is a progressive web app: it runs in the browser on iPhone and Android without an app store and can be added to the home screen. You manage the core modules (home, agenda, speakers and map, the QR code ticket, attendee login and attendee list, FAQ, exhibitors and content pages) in the built-in CMS, in two languages and in your corporate design. Push notifications, newsfeed, quiz, feedback & surveys, chat and photo gallery are premium features. It is not an event management app for your team; that is what the backend and the check-in app are for.
The event app is the guest list from the attendee’s side: their schedule, their ticket, their people.
How do you build an event app with AirLST?
- Create the app. One app per event at no extra charge per app; corporate design in self-service, languages, custom domain from Professional.
- Add content. In the CMS: days, sessions, rooms, tracks, speakers, exhibitors, venue map, FAQ and content pages; drafts stay hidden until you publish.
- Connect attendees. The app link goes into the confirmation and reminder; attendees sign in and see their ticket, a personal schedule from their workshop choice, and the attendee list.
- Choose premium features. Push, newsfeed, quiz, feedback & surveys, chat, photo gallery, more languages, as add-ons or included depending on the package.
- During the event. Room change in the CMS, push to the people affected, newsfeed with highlights, quiz in the session, check-in by scanning the app ticket.
- Afterward. Feedback and survey in the app, photo gallery, attendance and results in event reporting.
How is the event app different from store apps and the event website?
A native app from the app store has to be installed, approved and updated; many attendees will not do that for a two-day event. The event website informs people before the event but does not know the individual attendee: no ticket, no personal schedule, no push notification. A generic event app that is not connected to the guest list needs imports and does not know who registered for which session.
The AirLST event app is a web app with a login: no install, but an attendee you already know.
That is why the ticket is in the app without anyone uploading it, why the personal schedule is the workshop choice from registration, and why a push notification reaches exactly the attendees of one session. It is also why there is no export from the app: attendance, feedback and activity are stored on the attendee’s record in the guest list. The event website remains the place before the event, in the same design; the app is the place during it.
What does the event app work with?
With invitation emails for the app link, event registration for the login and personal schedule, event ticketing for the QR code, the guest list for the attendee list and audience groups, event check-in for the scan, post-event surveys for feedback, and event reporting.
- Conference management: sessions, hotel, transfers, networking and check-in for each day
- Matchmaking: suggestions and meeting slots, confirmed in the app
- Trade show management: exhibitors, booths and time slots in the app
- Pricing: event app packages, premium features and bundles with the Suite
