This year, AirLST got creative. As a Christmas gift, we sent our customers and partners gingerbread house kits that could be individually designed.

In our digital photo booth, these houses could then be decorated with filters and uploaded, while also doing some good. For every photo, AirLST donates €30 to a social project. Thanks to your submissions, a total of €900.00 was raised. To top it off, AirLST is doubling the amount this time.
This year, our support once again goes to the Lovely Ones Educational Center in Kayole, Kenya. Thanks to your participation, we can sustainably improve educational opportunities there once more. Through one of our employees, we have personal contact with the local organization and can ensure that all donations reach their intended destination.
One of the private initiatives improving educational opportunities in Kenya is the Lovely Ones organization. In 2010, German and Kenyan teachers met at a seminar in Nairobi, exchanging ideas about their countries' education systems, teaching methods, and social influences affecting children's educational attainment. Solomon, one of the aspiring teachers and now director of the Educational Center, reported on the situation in Kayole, where he himself grew up. Here, free access to education is essential; poverty dictates family life, and financing school attendance for eight years and for multiple children is often not possible. Solomon has experienced firsthand the difference education makes and wants to pass this opportunity on to the children in his neighborhood. Together, the group decided to get involved here. Still in 2010, premises were rented, creating three classrooms. After several moves and a growing student body, the Lovely Ones Educational Center has settled into its current premises and is now run by seven teachers. Children are taught here, receive a meal, and can stay all day: The Lovely Ones Center is their safe haven.
