New changelog feature for AirLST!

Event changelog

Keep an eye on the editing history with the changelog

Summer break is over. In the last few weeks, our developers have been smoking their heads and a lot has happened at AirLST. After countless test runs, we can now present you a great and brand-new feature of our software: changelog, A feature to track any changes to your guest list. That way, you won't miss an update anymore.

Especially when AirLST is used extensively and is operated by several users, there is a major challenge: How do you keep track of changes and updates in the list of participants?

We have implemented a changelog so that all modifications can be traced. This makes our software even more user-friendly and your event planning remains transparent.

What can the changelog do?

From now on, you can find the changelog function in your backend

Changelog is a change log that documents all processing steps of a project.

Until now, the data stored in AirLST was always up to date and synchronized immediately as soon as changes were made somewhere, but the individual work steps could not be traced back.

That's different now: In your sidebar, you can now switch between your usual list view and the changelog view. As soon as you click on the changelog, a chronological history of all changes to your guest list and to the guest opens.

Changelog answer questions like:
  • When was the guest created?
  • Who created the guest?
  • Who made which changes and when?

You can now filter your guest list for these changes, for example, find out which guests have been manually set to confirmed or which guests themselves have changed their arrival date again.

Especially if your guests have the opportunity to connect with a Re-login Logging into your registration form again via the landing page and being able to change data in the process, the changelog is a helpful tool that informs you about this data update.

This is particularly important if your event works with a shuttle service, for example, or if you always need to be up to date about the arrival and departure times of your participants.

A speaker brought forward his return flight? Then you shouldn't postpone his presentation because another speaker has also changed his travel dates.
The changelog is now available to check exactly this kind of information quickly and easily. In the log, you simply filter out all guests for whom the travel dates have changed and you can adjust your program schedule.

Even if your invitation expires in two phases, i.e. you already have initial feedback from your guests and this data must be validated, completed or changed in the second phase, the new changelog is a useful tool for filtering discrepancies.

The changelog function is now available for all active AirLST accounts and makes it easier for you to manage participants for your next event. Stay productive! We're already working on the next features...
