Name tags are worn on lanyards or with pins and magnets and show other event participants who you are, which company or institution you work for and, if applicable, what position you are in. The use of name tags is useful for most event formats. Especially, of course, when many participants come together who do not yet know each other.
Name badges for internal events
It also makes sense to print name badges for internal events: they give participants who don't yet know each other well the opportunity to iron out any uncertainties. Nobody likes to ask whether Christoph isn't called Christopher or what the name of the colleague on the third floor is. What information belongs on a name badge

It is a good idea to print name tags directly on site upon admission. This means that there is no need to pick out pre-printed name tags, but printing is started automatically when you check in.
