The year 2021 is drawing to a close and we are once again looking back on a slightly different year: events took place primarily online or were designed as hybrid events.
A year ago, we wrote at this point: “In the past year, we have learned to keep cool and adapt our plans to changing situations at short notice. We want to maintain this flexibility and composure so that we can continue to work productively and constructively. We are looking forward to new formats and ideas, to the progressive digitalization of the event industry and exciting challenges that we can tackle together. ”
In 2021, we managed over 150 virtual and hybrid events. We and our customers and partners had to prove our flexibility once again, because the measures involving hybrid events felt like they were constantly changing. Optimism and creativity were just as constant companions as determination and focus. Virtual events have become our new everyday life, we have learned and developed numerous new formats and event ideas, expanded our software and improved all technical requirements so that people can get in touch with each other interactively and barrier-free, but virtually.
With AirLST, you can no longer just live stream your guests' home office, you can take them with you to your individually designed virtual event venues. We have created landscape parks for garden equipment manufacturers, built virtual houses for smart home providers, digitally developed exhibition stands for dental care products and did something for health in virtual yoga studios. Online games, quiz questions, photo walls and breakout rooms for collaborative work make virtual events more than just a zoom session. Our customers also reflect this: Your guests are satisfied. They say: The current conditions require abandoning established paths; creativity and innovation are once again essential.
Even though the hope for local events has been disappointed time and time again, we see a lot of positive pragmatism and a good dose of optimism. That is why we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you. We thank you for your loyalty and trust, for your productive collaboration and always constructive feedback. We can say: We did a good job together. In times of distance and distance, we have created spaces and opportunities for meetings, communication, exchange and closeness. We saw challenges as opportunities and developed a new product that is needed in these times.
We would like to take advantage of this good collaboration and do even more good things now, at Christmas time. That is why we are working with customers and partners for schoolchildren in Kayole this year. Kayole is a suburb of Nairobi, Kenya. Children live here who need opportunities and support to break the cycle of poverty. The Lovely Ones Education Center allows them to attend school, provides therapeutic support to families when needed, and provides them with a safe, sheltered haven. We asked customers, partners and friends if we could send a donation to Lovely Ones on their behalf. Through one of our employees, we have personal contact with the local association and can ensure that all donations go right there. In January, we'll let you know what we can do together for the Lovely Ones Educational Center.
We wish you, our customers, friends, partners, affiliates and followers a merry and blessed Christmas and a happy and above all healthy year 2022! May it be the wonderful memories that last and motivate you to experience and do even more positive things. We are looking forward to your new ideas and projects in the coming year!
